Price Busters Online was founded in 1996 in a little village in North Yorkshire which had a population of only 8 people and was originally called Sorted Stock. 

After our founder established a network of suppliers at prices they knew could save the public money they launched their first ever catalog of over 150 products in a 30 page booklet with the main focus and DIY and office and cafe supplies.

The top products of the year was correction fluid at a mere 39p a bottle and nails and screws for a box of 200 from £1.99.

In 1997 the business expanded from a humble office with stock everywhere and made a bold decision to open a full-time market stall open 9am to 5pm 6 days a week in York city centre.

The gamble paid off and the business went up 10 fold.

In 1998 investment was made in a motorbike with parcel carrying ability's and a Ford Transit van to help with delivery.

The company pulled out of 95% of its DIY offering and offered over 1000 products from our office range.

The company also signed deals with top stationary companies with the likes of Pentel among others.

In 1999 expansion was on the arrival again and the business opened a market stall in Newcastle Upon Tyne to offer products to a wider range of the United Kingdom and again the products offered went to over 2000 for the first time.

With the business still trading as Sorted Stock and a tag line of "You sort it we stock it" The business took a turn which ultimately led to the collapse of Sorted Stock.

By 2000 the York market stall was breaking even and the hard choice was made to close it when the York stock had gone, This led to 2 staff members losing jobs.

In 2001 following a shock announcement that the market hall in Newcastle where our stall was is to close, The decision not to find another place was made and again the site was closed when all stock had been cleared.

In October 2001 the business was no more but after a testing period in 2016 was successful the business moved online and rebranded as Price Busters Online Limited and launched our own brand of products with price and quality being the name of the game - Welcome to the Price Busters Own Brand Range.

Today just like way back in 1996 the company still has ties with Pentel, Helix and Parker to name a few and now offers over 6000 products and keeps growing.

We now not only supply councils but we supply to schools and clubs as well as national business. 

In 2023 the business expanded again to offer worldwide delivery for a flat one off fee no matter how many items you buy and still continues to this day.

Today we have offices in Blackpool and again in York and are moving forward with sustainability, eco friendly, fully recyclable and forest stewardship council sustainable products and ALL our products that meet all the requirements are clearly marked and even have there own section on our sites - thats how proud we are of them.
